60 Algerian Startups Embark on Exchange Program in China and South Korea

Two delegations of Algerian startups, each composed of 30 startups, took off on Thursday for China and South Korea as part of the ASEP (Algerian Startup Learning Expedition Program). The program aims to connect Algerian national entrepreneurs with their counterparts in countries leading in innovation.

According to a statement from the Algerian public startup accelerator, Algeria Venture, which initiated the ASEP program, “participants will make 18 stops during their 15-day stay to explore leading technology hubs, interact with innovation leaders, share experiences with international peers, and explore strategic collaborations with local and global companies.”

The ASEP program, conducted under the auspices of the Algerian president Abdelmadjid Tebboune, supervised by the Algerian ministry of knowledge economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises, and executed by Algeria Venture, targets a total of 450 Algerian startups. These startups will benefit from a stay in China, the United States, and South Korea, with 150 startups for each destination.
