Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, arrived on Sunday at Boudghene Ben Ali Lotfi Airport in the Wilaya of Béchar to oversee the official launch ceremony of the exploitation of the Western mining line Gara Djebilet – Tindouf – Béchar – one of the largest strategic projects in the history of independent Algeria.
The Western mining railway line will transport Gara Djebilet iron to northern Algeria.
The President, accompanied by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, General Saïd Chanegriha, was welcomed by the civil and military authorities of the Wilaya of Béchar.
