41% of Gaza Kidney Failure Patients Dead as Dialysis Services Collapse Amid War

GAZA — Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday that 41% of kidney failure patients have died since the start of the war, largely due to the destruction of dialysis centers and the blockade on critical medical access. The mounting death toll underscores the collapse of Gaza’s already strained healthcare system under continued Zionist bombardment.
One of the key facilities, the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza, was destroyed by Zionist forces, eliminating one of the last lifelines for patients dependent on regular dialysis. “The destruction of this center is a catastrophic blow to the health system,” said a local medical source. “This is a disaster with consequences we cannot yet fully comprehend.”
Doctors warn that without immediate restoration of services and humanitarian access, more patients will die in the coming weeks. The collapse of dialysis care is just one of many medical crises unfolding as hospitals remain under siege, short on equipment, and overwhelmed by war casualties.
