UN Warns Zionist Military Distribution System in Gaza Endangers Civilians

The United Nations and the international humanitarian team operating in the occupied Palestinian territory issued a stark warning on Thursday, criticizing the Zionist military’s newly implemented aid distribution system in Gaza.
According to a press release, the new mechanism fails to meet the urgent needs of the population, undermines their dignity, and puts them in further danger, running contrary to core humanitarian principles.
The humanitarian team called on the Zionist entity to ensure the humane treatment of civilians, respect their inherent dignity, facilitate unhindered humanitarian assistance, and halt all forms of forcible population transfer. The statement emphasized that a military-run aid system cannot replace a rights-based, needs-driven humanitarian operation.
The team urged the Zionist entity to open more crossings and allow sustained aid delivery to civilians, especially those in besieged and hard-to-reach areas.
“We need a regular and widespread flow of aid, through multiple crossings, to communities, as we have done in the past, and unimpeded access,” the statement read. It further highlighted the importance of enabling all humanitarian partners, including UNRWA, to deliver not only supplies but also essential services. “Supplies alone do not constitute an effective humanitarian response,” the team stressed. “It is essential to ensure the continuity of service delivery throughout Gaza without interruption.”
