WFP Warns of Looming Food Shortage in Gaza

The World Food Programme (WFP) has warned that its food stocks in Gaza will only last for the next two weeks as the humanitarian crisis deepens.
In a statement, the WFP confirmed that no food supplies have entered Gaza for more than three weeks, exacerbating the already dire situation for the population.
The organization highlighted the urgent need for 30,000 tons of food per month to meet the basic needs of approximately 1.1 million people in Gaza. The ongoing blockade and restrictions on humanitarian aid have left thousands of families struggling to find essential food and nutrition.
Despite repeated calls from international organizations, aid convoys have been unable to reach those in desperate need, further worsening the humanitarian catastrophe.
