Algeria and Spain discuss bilateral cooperation

Algerian Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities, and National Planning, Brahim Merad, began a two-day official visit to the Kingdom of Spain on Monday, at the invitation of his Spanish counterpart Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gomez, as part of cooperation between the two countries, the ministry said in a statement.

Minister Merad held bilateral talks with his Spanish counterpart at the Spanish Ministry of the Interior.

The Algerian minister underscored the significance of his visit to Spain and the need to further strengthen cooperation between their respective security agencies. Meanwhile, the Spanish minister emphasised the importance of cooperation between Algeria and Spain in all areas.
