THE HAGUE – A three-story residential building in The Hague partially collapsed on Saturday following a fire and explosion. Firefighters are currently searching for survivors under the rubble.

“Emergency services are conducting rescue operations and battling the fire,” said the city’s fire department in a statement.

The number of people still trapped under the debris is unknown, and the cause of the explosion remains unclear.

Local media outlet Regio15 reported that several people have already been rescued, adding that multiple floors of the building appear to have been destroyed in the blast.

In the meantime, four people injured in the explosion have been transported to hospitals, according to the fire department.
