Over 73 martyrs in Beit Lahiya as Zionist occupation intensifies siege on northern Gaza

GAZA – The Zionist occupation continues its blockade of northern Gaza for the sixteenth consecutive day, pounding different neighbourhoods and resulting in the martyrdom of hundreds.

Last night, the Zionist warplanes targeted a residential block in Beit Lahiya, claiming the lives of at least 73 civilians. Additionally, the occupation’s tanks besieged the Indonesian Hospital in the Sheikh Zayed area, where they demolished part of its walls, and attacked the upper floors of Al-Awda Hospital for three times, with similar strikes reported at Al-Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital.

The Zionist occupation forces also bombarded the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital, hitting water tanks and electricity networks. Meanwhile, heavy artillery fire targeted Jabalia and its surroundings, leading to significant destruction, with plumes of smoke rising from the camp area.

The Zionist forces also surrounded shelters with military vehicles, where they detained men and intimidated women and children before being allowed to leave.

The current escalation has displaced around 350,000 residents. Meanwhile, hospitals remain deprived of essential medical supplies, hindering them from providing the necessary treatment for the injured.

It is noteworthy that the Telecommunications Company (Paltel Group) announced on Saturday the complete disruption of communication services in northern Gaza, preventing people from reaching out to civil defence and medical services crews.
