Gold Hits New Record Above $2,700

The price of gold reached a new record on Friday, surpassing $2,700 per ounce amid a surge in demand for safe-haven assets.
During early Asian trading, gold peaked at an unprecedented high of $2,704.89, eclipsing its previous record of $2,688.83 set just a day earlier.
Since the beginning of the year, gold has appreciated by approximately 30%, driven by interest rate cuts implemented by central banks, which have enhanced the appeal of the precious metal for investors.
