
The Constitutional Court declared on Saturday that Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune has been re-elected as President of Algeria for a second five-year term following his victory in the presidential elections on September 7, 2024.
According to the final results, Mr. Tebboune won with an absolute majority, receiving 84.30% of the votes, while Mr. Abdelaali Hassani Cherif secured 9.56% and Mr. Youcef Aouchiche received 6.14% of the votes.
The constitutional Court indicated that the voter turnout in Algeria’s early presidential elections was 46.10%, that is, 11226065 of voters.
