Algeria National Team Coach Vladimir Petković has announced player squad set to represent Algeria for the upcoming matches against Equatorial Guinea and Liberia in the first and second rounds of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The list includes the return of team captain Riyad Mahrez and goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja after his international retirement.
Petković also called up left-back Naoufel Khacef from CR Belouizdad and right-back Mohamed Farsi from Columbus Crew for the first time after his change in sporting nationality. Additionally, Amir Sayoud from Al-Raed was selected to assess his capabilities during the September camp.
