Algeria’s Presidential Election : Independent Candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune Pledges Continued Support for Youth

In a series of campaign events in Annaba, El Tarf, and Ouargla, Brahim Merad, the campaign director for independent presidential candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune, reaffirmed Tebboune’s dedication to supporting young people as a central aspect of his agenda. During these meetings, held on the 13th day of the campaign for the September 7 election, Merad highlighted Tebboune’s accomplishments from his first term, including the constitutionalization of the Supreme Youth Council and the increased inclusion of young people in senior positions.

Merad stressed that Tebboune’s electoral program aims to build on these achievements by continuing to focus on youth development, improving citizens’ living conditions, and pursuing comprehensive social policies. He emphasized Tebboune’s commitment to enhancing conditions for various societal groups, including women, farmers, and youth, while addressing critical issues such as employment and housing.

Merad called on voters to support Tebboune to ensure the continuation of these development efforts and reforms. He also mentioned Tebboune’s plans to tackle grey areas and work towards preserving citizens’ dignity and improving living standards if re-elected.
