Advanced units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army targeted a Moroccan base in the Mahbes sector, according to a military statement released Tuesday by the Central Directorate of the Political Prefecture of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army.
The statement, as reported by the Sahara Press Service (SPS), detailed that advanced units from the Sahrawi army conducted concentrated shelling yesterday afternoon, striking a hostile Moroccan base in the Aked Arkane area of the Mahbes sector.
The Sahrawi Liberation Army continues to target Moroccan occupation strongholds and fortifications, causing casualties and material losses, the statement added.
