Zelensky Can End War by Dropping NATO Bid and Crimea Claims — Trump

US President Donald Trump said Sunday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has the ability to end the conflict with Russia “almost immediately,” as the two leaders prepare to meet at the White House for decisive talks on Monday.
“President Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight. Remember how it started. No getting back Obama given Crimea (12 years ago, without a shot being fired!), and no going into NATO by Ukraine. Some things never change!!!” he wrote on Truth Social.
The White House meeting will include discussions on peace proposals, with senior European leaders and the NATO Secretary General joining the talks. Trump highlighted the scale of the gathering, calling it a “big day” for the White House and a “great honor for America” to host so many European leaders. His comments also followed criticism of last week’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, where Trump said “major points” had been agreed, leaving only minor issues unresolved.
