CARACAS – Polling stations for presidential elections in Venezuela opened Sunday at 6:00 a.m (10:00 a.m. GMT), media reported.
About 21 million Venezuelans are called to vote in one of the 30,000 polling stations across the country, which will remain open until 6:00 p.m. (10 p.m. GMT), with results expected overnight.
Ten candidates are in the running, including President Nicolas Maduro, 61 years old, seeking a third six-year term.
