Venezuela Guest of Honor at 14th International Festival of Symphonic Music in Algiers
ALGIERS — The 14th International Cultural Festival of Symphonic Music will be held from April 17-23 at Boualem Bessaih Algiers Opera House, featuring 17 participating countries, with Venezuela as the guest of honor, Festival Commissioner Abdelkader Bouazara said on Tuesday.
In a conference at the Algiers Opera House, Bouazara underscored that this 14th edition, organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Arts, will feature participation from 17 countries across different continents, with Venezuela leading as the guest of honor.
He added that this friendly country “will participate with an orchestra of 50 musicians who will perform a joint symphonic concert with the symphonic orchestra of the Algiers Opera House.”
The counselor, chargé d’affaires at the Venezuelan Embassy in Algiers, Gabriel Torrealba, affirmed that Venezuela “is honored to have been chosen as the guest of honor for the 14th International Cultural Festival of Symphonic Music.”
He said that his country’s symphonic orchestra “will contribute to the success of this event organized in Algeria by strengthening cooperation and exchange between artists and musicians from both countries.”
