Syria Calls for Global Efforts to Stop Zionist War Crimes

Syria has strongly condemned the recent Zionist attacks on its territory, urging countries around the world to unite their efforts to halt the ongoing war crimes and acts of genocide being committed by the zionist entity against the nations and peoples of the region.

In a statement issued by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, which was reported by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) on Monday, Syria highlighted the ongoing brutality of the Zionist entity. The statement emphasized Zionist disregard for humanitarian values and international laws, citing an attack the previous day in which a residential building in the Sayyida Zainab area of Damascus countryside was targeted. The assault resulted in the deaths of dozens of civilians, including children and women, and caused significant damage to private property.

The Syrian government condemned the attacks in the strongest terms, stressing that such crimes would not have occurred without the support of certain countries for the Zionist entity. Syria called on the free world to unite in stopping Israel’s war crimes and genocide against the region and its people, demanding that the Zionist entity be held accountable in all international forums and face justice for its actions. A Syrian military source reported that the attack resulted in the martyrdom of seven civilians, including children and women, and left 20 others wounded, alongside material damages.
