President Tebboune, Italy’s PM Meloni Discuss Bilateral Cooperation in Phone Call

The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Tuesday a phone call from Giorgia Meloni, President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Italy, said the Algerian Presidency in a statement.

The statement said: “Today, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call from Giorgia Meloni, President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Italy. During the call, they discussed bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Italy, as well as the upcoming European-African summit.”

The two leaders also discussed “the fight against illegal immigration and the upcoming visit of the President of the Council of Ministers of Italy to Algeria after the holy month of Ramadan, which will be an opportunity to establish the Algeria-Italy Chamber of Commerce proposed by Giorgia Meloni,” according to the same source.
