MotoGP: Portuguese Grand Prix Extended Until 2026

The MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix, which has been held at the Algarve International Autodrome in Portimão since 2020, will remain on the calendar for an additional two years, extending through 2026, as announced by promoter Dorna on Wednesday.
The future of the Portuguese event was uncertain due to the anticipated return of the Hungarian GP, scheduled for August after a hiatus of more than 30 years.
Additionally, the iconic Brno circuit in the Czech Republic will return to the championship schedule after hosting approximately fifty editions of the Czechoslovakia and later Czech Republic motorcycle Grand Prix from 1965 to 2020.
Although the complete calendar for 2025 has yet to be revealed, several events have already been confirmed. Notably, the Thai GP will kick off the season during the weekend of March 2, and the French GP is set for May 9-11.
As of now, specific dates for the 2025 edition of the Portuguese GP have not been announced.
