Lebanon: Health Ministry to mobilise hospitals for the displaced and wounded amid alarming escalation

BEIRUT – The Lebanese Health Ministry announced on Saturday its plan to evacuate hospitals in the southern suburbs of Beirut in order to receive the wounded coming from the devastated areas.
In a statement, the ministry called on hospitals in Beirut and areas unaffected by the Zionist attacks to stop accepting non-emergency cases until the end of next week to make room for patients being evacuated from hospitals in southern Beirut due to the latest escalation.
Lebanese health authorities reported six martyrs on Friday, raising the toll of fatalities to over 700 since Monday, while hundreds of thousands were compelled to flee their homes.
