Algerian swimmer Jaouad Syoud has advanced to the semifinals in the 200-meter individual medley at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He secured the 15th spot in the heats held today, Thursday, at the Paris La Défense Arena.
Competing in the fourth heat, Jaouad Syoud finished sixth with a time of 1:59.41, thus earning a place in the semifinals by ranking 15th overall.
The top sixteen swimmers from the heats will compete in the semifinals, scheduled for this evening (Thursday) at 20:40 local time (Algerian time).
