Iran’s Defense Minister Denies Zionist Fighter Jets Breached Iranian Airspace

Iran’s Defense Minister, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, dismissed reports claiming that Zionist fighter jets had breached Iranian airspace during an airstrike against Tehran on October 26. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Nasirzadeh called the reports “media hype” and reassured the public of Iran’s robust air defenses.

He clarified that the Zionist entity aimed to challenge Iran’s anti-missile systems but was ultimately unsuccessful. Praising Iran’s domestically developed anti-missile technology, Nasirzadeh emphasized that the country’s high level of preparedness prevented any potential loss or damage. He firmly rejected claims that any harm had been inflicted on Iran’s defense systems.

Nasirzadeh reiterated that Iran would not tolerate any aggression on its territory, no matter how minor. When asked about possible threats from northern neighboring countries, he confirmed that no attacks had originated from there. Following the incident, Iran’s Air Defense Base stated on October 26 that Iran’s air defenses successfully intercepted and countered the Zionist airstrike attempt, highlighting the nation’s resolve in maintaining its security.
