Greta Thunberg Launches Largest-Ever Mission to Break Gaza Blockade

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has announced plans for what she calls the largest-ever attempt to break the Zionist entity’s blockade of the Gaza Strip. Writing on her Instagram page, Thunberg said that on August 31, dozens of vessels will depart from Spain, followed by more boats joining from Tunisia and other ports on September 4.

Greta stated that activists from over 44 countries will also stage simultaneous demonstrations to “break the silent consent and show solidarity with the people of Palestine.”

The high-profile mission follows Thunberg’s earlier attempt on June 1, when she and 11 pro-Palestinian activists sailed aboard the vessel Madleen toward Gaza to challenge the blockade and draw global attention to the humanitarian crisis there. The group included French MEP Rima Hassan.

On June 9, Zionist forces intercepted the Madleen and detained all passengers before deporting them.
