During an official visit and inspection of the Second Military Region in Oran, General Saïd Chengriha, Delegate Minister to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the Algerian Army, highlighted the enduring legacy inherited from the heroic National Liberation Army. He emphasized the army’s constant dedication to its national duty, which centers on defending the homeland, safeguarding its unity, preserving its wealth, and protecting its sovereignty and independent decision-making.
General Chengriha stressed that the army relies on a robust defense system that carefully balances combat skill, operational experience, and high professionalism with a deep-rooted sense of patriotism. This includes loyalty to the martyrs’ legacy and a profound respect for sacrifice in the service of Algeria’s eternal flag and republican system.
He confidently asserted that as long as Algeria remains committed to honoring its martyrs and its loyal patriots continue, under the leadership of the President and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to advance steadily on the path of comprehensive national renaissance, the country will achieve ongoing economic progress and strategic elevation. Meanwhile, its enemies, like those of the past, will continue to suffer defeat and the failure of their malicious schemes.
