El-Djeich magazine: Algeria continues, with steady steps and iron will, to forge its ambitious path in the right direction
ALGIERS – Algeria’s El-Djeich magazine emphasized in its latest editorial that Algeria continues, with steady steps and iron will, to forge its ambitious path in the right direction, on solid and just foundations, based on cohesion, homogeneity, harmony, and unity, achieving real progress and qualitative leaps at various levels and in all domains and sectors.
The editorial titled, “The PNA Fully Prepared to Meet All the Challenges,” highlighted that the People’s National Army, more determined than ever to follow developments in the fields of defence and security, continues relentlessly its modernisation and development process, having taken important steps along this path.
“The PNA adapts to the demands of the current circumstances, with its security, technological, and development challenges, through a solid defence strategy based on studied and comprehensive approaches for various domains, taking into account our own capabilities and aligning with global transformations. It also supports the revival project led, with determination and perseverance, by the triumphant New Algeria,” the editorial read.
The editorial added that the People’s National Army continues, with resolve and determination, to assume its noble responsibilities in the defence of our homeland and the reinforcement of its sovereignty and independence, thereby justly proving its readiness, professionalism, and effectiveness in the accomplishment of its noble missions. Moreover, “its personnel are always prepared to meet all challenges and confront all threats, regardless of their nature and source, with the sole objective of establishing security and consolidating factors of peacefulness in all regions of our beloved country.”
The magazine noted that this was emphasised by Mr President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, in his speech delivered on the occasion of his visit to the Ministry of National Defence headquarters on 9th October, where he said: “our Army has become a force to be reckoned with, it has adjusted to hybrid warfare, cyber warfare, and artificial intelligence, and today stands as a higher school of patriotism and fierce defence of our freedom, the sanctity of our soil, and faithful to the message of 1st November 1954”. He further added: “Our borders are secure, all praise is due to Allah, because the army is strong, vigilant, defending the sanctity of national territory; otherwise, we would be subject to covetous ambitions”.
The magazine’s editorial reiterated that in an atmosphere where security, stability, serenity, and peacefulness prevail, Algeria continues, with steady steps and iron will, to forge its ambitious path in the right direction, on solid and just foundations, based on cohesion, homogeneity, harmony, and unity, achieving real progress and qualitative leaps at various levels and in all domains and sectors: political, economic, developmental, social, and diplomatic, and in compliance with the commitment to the imperative of serving Algeria and preserving its security, stability, and sovereignty.
“This is achieved despite the underhand tactics of enemies and their lackeys, who do not hold Algeria dear to their hearts and attempt, by all means, to hinder its progress and counteract its leading role regionally and internationally,” the source said.
This was highlighted by Mr General Saïd Chanegriha, Delegate Minister to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of People’s National Army Staff, on the same occasion, stating: ” Experiences drawn from history have demonstrated that nations that rely on their own strengths and resources are the most capable of confronting external threats. This attests that it is through acting as one that the people, leaders, and state institutions form the cornerstone for building national security and realising systemic stability of the State,” he said, adding, “In this sense, the strategic choices you have adopted, Mr President, in the service of a model of country leadership, based on an emerging economy, a powerful army, and a solid internal front, reflect a rational and clear-sighted approach, capable of enabling our country to build its future, by ensuring lasting national security, fostered by the cohesion of institutions and the synergy of efforts, in light of a strategic vision centred on national competencies, as well as the effectiveness of state structures, all serving the nation and the citizens.”
El-Djeich magazine’s editorial said that amid international and regional conditions characterised by disturbances and tensions, and faced with the plots and machinations fomented against our country, and despite all the desperate and vain attempts to target it by its enemies who do not tolerate Algeria advancing on the right path, and by the agents who have sold their homeland, their souls, and their conscience at the lowest price, Algeria will remain proud and unwavering thanks to the consciousness of its valiant people, its cohesion with the People’s National Army, the worthy heir of the National Liberation Army.
“This cohesion has repeatedly taught lessons and inflicted defeat after defeat upon the enemies. It is the guarantor of Algeria’s present and future, preserving the legacy of our valiant martyrs and honouring the legacy and message we made to our illustrious ancestors, who consented to the greatest sacrifices so that Algeria may live free, dignified, and sovereign.”
