CAIR Urges US Media to Condemn “Israel”’s Killing of Journalists in Gaza

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) called on US media Monday to denounce “Israel”’s latest attacks on journalists in the Gaza Strip. The organization emphasized that the lives of Muslim, Palestinian, and non-white journalists should be valued equally to their white, European, or Christian counterparts.
The statement followed the deaths of Al Jazeera Mubasher correspondent Hossam Shabat and Palestine Today TV reporter Mohammad Mansour, both killed in Zionist airstrikes. CAIR asserted that they were deliberately targeted for exposing Zionist actions in Gaza. Since October 2023, 208 journalists have been killed in the enclave, according to local authorities.
The Zionist entity’s latest aerial campaign, launched on March 18 despite an existing ceasefire, has resulted in at least 730 deaths and nearly 1,200 injuries. The overall death toll in Gaza has surpassed 50,000, with over 113,200 wounded. The Zionist entity faces genocide charges at the International Court of Justice, while the International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former war Minister Yoav Gallant over war crimes in Gaza.
