Brazil Condemns Zionist Interception of Gaza Aid Flotilla

Brazil has condemned the interception by the Zionist forces of the Global Sumud flotilla carrying aid to Gaza, which included several Brazilian nationals, among them a member of parliament.
The flotilla of about 45 vessels, transporting politicians and activists, left Spain last month in a bid to break the Zionist blockade of Gaza, where famine has spread after nearly two years of a genocidal war.
Organizers said more than a dozen boats were intercepted in international waters in the Mediterranean.
Brazil’s foreign ministry said Wednesday it “regrets the military action, which violates rights and endangers the physical integrity of peaceful demonstrators,” adding that the Zionist entity now bears responsibility for the safety of the detained passengers.
Brasilia is among several governments worldwide that have urged the Zionist entity to lift restrictions on humanitarian aid to Gaza. President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has repeatedly denounced the ongoing offensive, calling it a “genocide.”
