As the Special Envoy of Algerian President, Saihi Arrives in Victoria

Abdelhak Saihi, Algerian Minister of Health and special envoy of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, arrived in Victoria, Seychelles, on Wednesday, as stated by the ministry.

During his visit to the Republic of Seychelles, Saihi met with Seychellois Foreign Minister Sylvestre Radegonde.

The meeting provided an opportunity to “exchange views on strengthening cooperation between the two countries across various areas of mutual interest,” according to the statement. Both parties also discussed “prospects for bilateral collaboration, particularly in tourism, vocational training, higher education, industry, and agriculture.”

On this occasion, both sides emphasized “the importance of these sectors in fostering sustainable economic development for the benefit of both peoples.”

They further addressed “the enhancement of bilateral relations, especially given the shared positions of both nations at African and international levels.”

During the meeting, Saihi underscored “the necessity of advancing bilateral relations in alignment with the aspirations of the leaders and citizens of both countries.”

For his part, Radegonde expressed his satisfaction with the visit, affirming that Seychelles values its privileged relationship with Algeria and supports any initiatives that could contribute to mutual development. (APS)
