Algerian University of Oran 2 and Spanish University of Granada Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

A cooperation and partnership agreement was signed between the University of Oran 2 “Mohamed Ben Ahmed” and the University of Granada (Spain), as announced today, Tuesday, by the University of Oran 2.
The agreement was signed by the rectors of both universities, Mr. Ahmed Chaalal and Mr. Pedro Mercado Pacheco, and aims to encourage mobility for students, faculty, and administrative staff, develop joint training programs, enhance research projects, and promote the exchange of best practices in various areas of academic and university management.
This agreement continues the long-standing relationship between the two institutions, particularly through the “Erasmus+” program, which has facilitated numerous exchanges during the current academic year. These include the participation of a library staff member in the scientific week for library staff at the University of Granada, the mobility of a student for a semester of study, and the hosting of a professor from the University of Granada at the University of Oran 2 to teach for a week.
According to the same source, this collaboration presents a significant opportunity for the exchange of experiences and knowledge, as well as strengthening cultural ties. It also opens the door to new opportunities, particularly through the organization of joint conferences and seminars, participation in international collaborative research projects, and the creation of innovative training programs that meet current academic and professional demands.
