Algerian President Receives Congratulations from Arab League Secretary-General
ALGIERS – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received warm congratulations from Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Liberation Revolution.
In his message, the Secretary-General paid tribute to the heroes of the glorious Liberation Revolution, stating that they were “determined to liberate Algeria, snatched independence, paving the way for reconstruction and development efforts that continue today under the leadership of the President of the Republic.”
Aboul Gheit also commended the special attention President Tebboune accords to strengthening solidarity among the sons of the unified Arab nation, as demonstrated by Algeria’s well-established and influential role in this domain.
In this regard, the Arab League Secretary-General reaffirmed the organisation’s firm commitment to maintaining close cooperation with Algeria in pursuit of the aspirations of the Algerian people and the strengthening of joint Arab action.
