The Algerian President Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, honored athletes who secured medals at the Paris-2024 Olympic Games in a ceremony held today, Wednesday, at the El Mouradia Palace in Algiers. The games concluded last Sunday.
President Tebboune celebrated the achievements of several Olympic champions, including gymnast Kaylia Nemour, boxer Imane Khelif, and runner Djamel Sedjati.
Kaylia Nemour won a gold medal in the uneven bars event, while Imane Khelif claimed gold in the 66 kg boxing category. Djamel Sedjati earned a bronze medal in the 800m final.
