Algerian President Expresses Condolences on the Passing of Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi

ALGIERS – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune sent a condolence message on Sunday to the family of the late Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi.
“With his passing, Algeria loses a prominent name among the esteemed national figures who held deserved respect and high regard,” the message read.
“The departed embodied the qualities of a wise politician, a composed intellectual, and a patriotic Mudjahid and freedom fighter, since he joined, as a young man, the General Union of Algerian Muslim Students in the 1950s, and throughout a career filled with high duties and responsibilities, which elevated him to the rank of the finest patriotic and loyal statesmen devoted to Algeria,” the President said.
“In this painful loss, I extend to you my sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy, praying to the Almighty, Glorified and Exalted, to envelop our departed with His vast mercy.”
