Algerian PM Chairs Opening of National Summit “Youth and Political Participation”

ALGIERS — Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui chaired Monday, at the International Conference Center (ICC) “Abdelatif-Rahal” in Algiers, the official opening of the National Summit “Youth and Political Participation,” organized under the high patronage of the Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The summit opening, held under the theme “Through Leadership and Innovation, we Contribute to Decision-making,” was attended by Youth Minister Mustapha Hidaoui, who heads the Higher Youth Council, Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of Political Affairs and Relations with Youth, Civil Society and Political Parties Zoheir Bouamama, along with government members and representatives from official organizations.

The summit will bring together 3,000 young participants to discuss several key themes including “the legal framework for political participation (with youth as a model), the current state of youth political participation, and strengthening mechanisms for youth political engagement.”
