Algerian and Spanish Foreign Ministers Hold Bilateral Talks on Sidelines of G20 Summit

Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks on Saturday with his Spanish counterpart, José Manuel Albares.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of his participation in the proceedings of the G20 Summit, held in Johannesburg on November 22–23, 2025, as part of the Algerian delegation headed by Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb.

This meeting allowed for a review of the partnership and cooperation relations between the two countries, as well as an exchange of views and analyses regarding developments in the Mediterranean basin and the Sahel-Saharan region, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
