Algeria Takes Part in Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition

ALGIERS- Algeria takes part in the 31st International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT Moscow), to be held in the Russian capital on 18-20 March, the Algerian ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts said Monday in a statement.

“As part of the programme of action of the ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, stemming from the tourist development strategy 2030, in the section relating to the promotion of the Algerian tourist destination, Algeria will participate, through the National Office of Tourism (ONT), a body responsible for tourism promotion, and a delegation of tourism operators representing the National Office of Tourism (ONAT), the Touring Club of Algeria, private travel agencies and craftsmen, in the 31st International Travel & Tourism Exhibition in the Russian capital (MITT Moscow), to be held on 18-20 March 2025,” the statement said.

Through its participation, according to the statement, Algeria wants to implement the sector’s action plan to promote “the destination Algeria” at the international level and to shed light on the country’s tourism and cultural assets, especially with the good bilateral relations between Algeria and Russia.

The exhibition is a major event for tourism as it allows visitors to discover holiday and travel opportunities, and will make it possible for those working in the field, from various parts of the world, to forge business ties and partnerships.

To enhance the country’s tourist image and allow travel and tourism operators to carry out their mission in the best possible conditions, a fully equipped exhibition stand has been set up to promote and market Algerian tourist products.
