Algeria Signs Agreement to Export Electrical Equipment to Côte d’Ivoire

ALGIERS – A cooperation agreement was signed on Saturday aimed at exporting Algerian electrical equipment to Côte d’Ivoire, valued at 100 million euros, on the sidelines of the Intra-African Trade Fair hosted by Algeria from September 4 to 10.

The agreement, which brings together Elsewedy Electric Algeria and Sogelux, seeks to supply the Côte d’Ivoire market with Algerian electrical equipment as part of a five-year program, during which €20 million worth of goods will be exported annually.

This follows the success of previous trials, including a pilot project worth €4 million, which was “met with strong demand and wide approval,” according to explanations provided during the event.
