ALGIERS – A contract for the export of animal proteins to Bangladesh, valued at 1.2 million USD, was signed on Tuesday in Algiers between “SARL Bellat et Frères Abattage et Conserverie de Viandes” and the Bangladeshi company “Ashta Company,” the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion.
The contract was signed by the general manager of the Algerian private group, Lakhdar Bellat, and the CEO of Ashta Company, Moshref Hossain, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig.
The value of this animal protein export contract is 1.2 million USD, the noted the press release, emphasizing that this new contract would increase the total value of the group’s exports to 3.5 million USD per year.
