Algeria-Oman: Signing of Eight Memoranda of Understanding

On Tuesday, eight Memorandums of Understanding aimed at fostering cooperation across various sectors were signed in Muscat between Algeria and the friendly Sultanate of Oman.
These memorandums were formalized during the state visit of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Oman.
The signing ceremony took place at the Al Alam Royal Palace, following extensive discussions between delegations from both countries, co-chaired by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Among the agreements, one is dedicated to education, another to employment and training, and a third to information. These three memorandums were signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, and his Omani counterpart, Badr Bin Hamad Albusaidi.
A memorandum pertaining to financial services was signed by the Minister of Finance, Laaziz Faid, alongside the Omani Minister, Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi.
Additionally, a memorandum regarding higher education and scientific research was signed by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, and the Omani Foreign Minister, Badr Bin Hamad Albusaidi. Another memorandum concerning the organization of exhibitions, events, and conferences was signed by the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni, and the Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef.
Furthermore, a memorandum focused on promoting investment was signed by Omar Rekkache, Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), and the Omani Minister, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef.
Lastly, a memorandum addressing environmental matters and sustainable development was signed by the Minister of Environment and Renewable Energies, Fazia Dahleb, and the Omani Minister of Energy and Minerals, Salem Bin Nasser Al Aufi.
