Russia Returns Bodies of 1,000 Ukrainian Soldiers, Says Vladimir Medinsky

Russia has transferred the bodies of 1,000 fallen Ukrainian soldiers to Ukraine, Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky said.

In return, Russia received the bodies of 35 fallen Russian soldiers, Medinsky added, describing the exchange as part of ongoing humanitarian arrangements between the two sides.

According to Medinsky, the handover reflects continued contacts on issues related to the recovery and repatriation of the deceased amid the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
