Algerian President Receives Phone Call from King of Jordan

Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call on Sunday from King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, during which they exchanged views on the prevailing situation in the Arab world in particular, as well as developments worldwide.

The two sides agreed on a forthcoming meeting to discuss many issues in depth, especially those of mutual interest, the Algerian Presidency said in a statement.

On this occasion, His Majesty the King congratulated the President of the Republic and the Algerian people on the occasion of the New Year, wishing continued prosperity for Algeria, the statement said.

For his part, the Algerian President congratulated the King and the Jordanian people on the same occasion, wishing progress and prosperity for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
