Algeria Slams Zionist Strike on Qatar, Reiterates Solidarity
Algiers, September 9, 2025 – Algeria has strongly condemned the ‘reprehensible’ aggression by Zionist forces that targeted the Qatari capital, Doha, on Tuesday. The country expressed its full and unwavering solidarity with the state of Qatar during this critical period, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.
“Algeria strongly condemns and denounces the heinous Israeli aggression that targeted the Qatari capital, Doha, today, and expresses its full solidarity with the brotherly State of Qatar in this exceptional circumstance it is going through,” the statement read.
“The actions taken by the Israeli occupation—expanding the scope of its multifaceted and multi-front aggressions, and targeting the team of negotiators working on ending the aggression against Gaza—prove to the entire world that the occupier does not incline toward peace, sees no limit to its recklessness and arrogance, and shows no regard whatsoever for even the most basic values, rules, and norms observed by the nations of the world,” the source added.
“In the face of this extremely serious situation, the international community must recognize the urgent necessity of fully assuming its responsibilities to deter the Israeli occupier, put an end to its crimes against the Palestinians, and curb its escalation that is dragging the entire region into an endless spiral of insecurity and instability,” the statement concluded.
