Mansouri Recieves WHO and IOM Representatives in Algeria

ALGIERS – The Secretary of State to the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of African Affairs, Bakhta Selma Mansouri, held meetings on Thursday at the Ministry’s headquarters with the World Health Organization (WHO) representative in Algeria, Dr. Phanuel Habimana, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) representative in Algeria, Lalini Veerassamy, according to a statement from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.

These meetings served as an opportunity to reaffirm Algeria’s commitment to strengthening its cooperation with accredited UN organizations in the country, particularly in support of development priorities in Africa and joint efforts within the framework of South-South and triangular cooperation, the statement added.
