Hydrocarbons : Alnaft, SLB Discuss Deeper Energy Cooperation and Strategic Partnership

ALGIERS – The president of the Algerian Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources (Alnaft), Mourad Beldjehem, received on Tuesday the CEO of the multinational oilfield services and equipment company SLB, Olivier Le Pleuch, with whom he discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between the two parties, the agency said in a press release.
This “fruitful” meeting took place at Alnaft’s headquarters and aimed to “strengthen existing ties and explore new avenues for strategic collaboration,” said the same source.
The discussions focused on technological advancements in the energy sector, operational optimization, sustainable development, training, and skills transfer, as well as specific projects, notably “Exalt” for promoting multi-client studies related to the hydrocarbon mining domain and the organization of competitive bidding processes.
In this respect, Beldjehem expressed his readiness to deepen the partnership with SLB, “globally recognized for its innovations and expertise.”
