Arab Parliament Condemns Zionist Plan to Control Gaza, Warns of Escalation

Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Yamahi condemned the Zionist occupation’s plan to assert control over the Gaza Strip, describing it as a clear violation of international law and key international resolutions, including the Geneva Conventions and United Nations Security Council and General Assembly resolutions.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Al-Yamahi emphasized that the Zionist plan, combined with the daily massacres inflicted on defenseless civilians in Gaza and their displacement sites, constitutes a deliberate policy of aggression aimed at altering the region’s reality by force. He stressed that these actions are exacerbating the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Al-Yamahi warned that the implementation of such plans would only lead to further regional destabilization, escalating tensions and undermining international and regional efforts toward a just and lasting peace. He urged the international community, including the Security Council, human rights organizations, and international parliaments, to take firm action to halt these violations, hold the Zionist occupation accountable, and provide international protection for the Palestinian people. He also called for immediate, unconditional humanitarian aid access to Gaza.
