Port-Sudan Airport Resumes Operations Following Drone Strike

Port-Sudan International Airport has resumed operations after a drone attack that occurred between Monday night and Tuesday morning, according to local authorities.

“Flights to and from Port-Sudan International Airport are resuming and will operate according to the regular schedule,” announced a statement posted on the official Khartoum airport Facebook page.

On Tuesday morning, reports indicated that all flights had been canceled due to the drone strike overnight.

Currently, there is no information regarding potential casualties or damage related to this incident.

The airstrike also targeted the Marina Hotel, situated in the city center of Port-Sudan, as well as an oil depot near the seaport.

Representatives from the Sudanese army have held units of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) responsible for the attacks.
