Algerian and Mauritanian Prime Ministers Discuss Cooperation and Regional Issues

ALGIERS – Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui held a phone conversation on Monday with his Mauritanian counterpart, Mokhtar Ould Djay, during which they exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, according to a statement from the Algerian Prime Minister’s office.
Both officials expressed satisfaction with the growing cooperation between the two neighboring countries, emphasizing the increasing momentum in their bilateral relations. They highlighted the shared commitment of their respective leaders, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to strengthening ties.
The discussion covered progress in joint projects, particularly in infrastructure and regional integration, aimed at achieving sustainable development goals. They also addressed current regional and international issues, with a particular focus on the Palestinian cause.
