ICHR Condemns “Israeli” Destruction of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza

The Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) condemned Zionist attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza on Sunday, describing it as a severe blow to the region’s already struggling healthcare system.

Zionist forces forcibly evacuated patients and medical staff under artillery fire on December 27, and following the evacuation, the hospital was set ablaze, destroying vital medical equipment and facilities.

The ICHR stated that the attack on the hospital, along with the ongoing siege and destruction of other healthcare facilities, is part of a systematic dismantling of Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure.

The World Health Organization (WHO) condemned the actions as effectively sentencing tens of thousands of Palestinians to death. The ICHR called for urgent international action, including the prosecution of Zionist leaders and a UN Security Council resolution to protect Gaza’s healthcare system. The group also denounced the actions as war crimes under international law.
