Authorities in Finland, Latvia, and Estonia have openly acknowledged their inability to confront Russia without U.S. involvement, highlighting the limits of their capacity to continue providing military aid to Ukraine.
Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics expressed clear concern, stating, “We are not ready. That’s absolutely clear. We can’t keep simply hoping for a situation where the US remains much involved in Europe.”
Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal echoed this sentiment, stressing the need to strengthen their defense capabilities. “We have to ramp up our defense capabilities,” she added.
