Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held a meeting with Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Representative for the Middle East, Mikhail Bogdanov, to strengthen bilateral ties and address pressing regional concerns.
The discussions centered on the implementation of agreements reached during Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s state visit to Russia in June 2023. Both officials emphasized the importance of building on the strategic decisions taken during the visit to enhance cooperation across various sectors, particularly in political and economic domains.
Additionally, the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on regional developments, with a focus on the ongoing crises in the Sahel and the Middle East.
