Algeria Urges UN Action to Protect Humanitarian Workers and Personnel in Conflict Zones

NEW YORK (UN) – Algeria said on Tuesday from New York that protecting humanitarian workers and UN personnel in times of conflict is not only a moral responsibility but also a “must” for international peace and security, calling on the Security Council to take concrete measures to ensure the effective implementation of related recommendations outlined in the UN Secretary-General’s report.
